Diploma in Pharmacy (Diploma course)

Two-year full-time Diploma programme in Pharmacy recognised by Government of Maharashtra and Pharmacy Council of India.

Intake Capacity 60 for Womens

Programme Objective

A programme specifically designed to create professionals who will make a mark in the pharmaceutical industry as well as in society as community pharmacist. After completion of Diploma in Pharmacy most of the students get employed in national and multinational pharmaceutical Industries as well as they start their own business as Registered Pharmacist with Pharmacy Shop as retailer or wholesaler, even many students work as hospital pharmacist or opt for further education degree in Pharmacy.

Eligibility:

Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy:
• Passing any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry & Biology / Mathematics (PCB / PCM) and English
• Intermediate examination in Science
• 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science, with PCB or PCM 
• Pre-degree examination
• Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination

Reservations

Provided that there shall be reservation of seats for backward class candidates as per ordinance of  Central Govt./ State Govt./ Union Territory administration as the case may be from time to time.

Programme Duration

The duration of the course is of 2 years with each academic year spread over not less than 180 working days in addition to 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months.
